Vote-By-Mail Ballot Processing
Once the supervisor of elections office has the voter's request for Vote-By-Mail ballot on record they will;
- Mail or email ballots approximately 45 days prior to each election to voters who have requested vote-by-mail ballots and are serving in the military or reside overseas.
- Mail ballots to all other requesters of vote-by-mail ballots approximately 30 days prior to each election.
Note: Ballots cannot be forwarded (excluding overseas and military addresses). Please ensure the Supervisor of Elections office has your most current address on file!
MILITARY, MERCHANT MARINE, OR CIVILIANS RESIDING OVERSEAS
Military (and their dependents), Merchant Marine and civilians residing overseas should complete a Federal Postcard Application (FPCA) which is obtained from their “Unit Voting Officer” or by downloading an FPCA by clicking here. Once the form is completed and signed you may mail it to:

You may create a postage paid envelope to return your FPCA by placing a #10 business envelope in your printer and printing the form shown here.
If already a registered voter, vote-by-mail ballots may be requested by email, phone, or in writing. All requests must be addressed to the Supervisor of Elections Office. Spouses and dependents are considered to be of the same category as their military sponsor and generally should follow the same rules.
